Lost Weekend 2022: 48h pour réaliser le meilleur court-métrage

Dans le cadre du LuxFilmFest 2022, l’asbl Filmreakter revient pour la troisième année consécutive avec son 48h Film Challenge du 4 au 6 mars prochains, ouvert à tous les créatifs du pays.

Participer au Lost Weekend, c’est relever un défi cinématographique en équipe: réaliser un court-métrage d’une durée de 3 à 5 minutes maxi sur un thème surprise dévoilé le jour J, avec un dialogue et un accessoire imposés. C’est fun, et chez adada, on est persuadé que les publicitaires sont les mieux rodés dans cet exercice! Alors pensez-y, les inscriptions ouvrent le 29 janvier à 6h00 tapantes! Soyez réactifs, le nombre d’équipes pouvant participer est limité.

Pour rappel, lors de l’édition 2021, l’équipe de SKIN avait remporté le premier prix – le Coffee Pot Jury Award – avec son court-métrage Nostromo écrit et réalisé par Raoul Schmitz, Pol Arlé et Falko Jakobs.

Lost Weekend 2022: mode d’emploi

  1. Create a team from among your friends – or find one to join in our forum.
  2. Register your team here online, starting on JANUARY 29th, 06h00 when registrations open. Don’t wait too long though, capacities are limited! Participation is free!
  3. On Friday, March 4th at 19h we all meet up at the LOST WEEKEND headquarters in Luxembourg City at Cercle Cité for our kick-off event. When the clock strikes eight we will announce this edition’s theme, a line of dialogue and a prop that each must feature in your film. Then each team ceremoniously draws a piece of paper out of a hat, allocating a different film genre to each team – and off you go! 
  4. You write, shoot, edit your film between Friday and Sunday. You can shoot in any language you want (we suggest to use the one you and your actors are most comfortable in). Please make sure the final film is no shorter than 3 and no longer than 5 minutes!
  5. You deliver your film back to us in person and no later than 20h Sunday evening.
    Important information: handing in your film too late on Sunday will result in your film being disqualified from the competition, but we will still screen it.
  6. You relax for the next three days and feel good about yourself, while we subtitle all films where needed.
  7. On Wednesday, March 9th, 21h we meet again at CINE UTOPIA for a screening of all your films as part of the Luxembourg City Film Festival, followed by an awards ceremony where you will have the chance to win several awards, chief among them the highly coveted COFFEE POT JURY AWARD!

OTHER AWARDS: AUDIENCE AWARD, STELLA! BEST ACTING AWARD, GEORGINA BEST DIALOGUE AWARD for best use of the mandatory line of dialogue, the CHEESEGRATER PROP AWARD for best use of the mandatory prop, BEST EDITING, BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY and BEST CONCEPT awards.
